Mackenzie O'Brien is a singer songwriter from the Chicago area who travels regularly to Nashville to write, record, and perform. As a child Mackenzie was nicknamed "Hummingbird" as she was often found playing alone while humming made up melodies. Mackenzie was without direction in school when "music found her" at the age of 14. She had picked up a guitar out of boredom and felt as if her brain was unlocked.
Mackenzie’s band formed late in 2018 and in a short time period have performed on WGN TV and opened for national acts like The Vandoliers and Mike and The Moonpies. They perform from a Country and Indie base performing covers and original music.
