Georgia Rae Concert

Off Square Music will present champion fiddler Georgia Rae in a solo concert at 7 p.m. Friday, April 27, at Stage Left Cafe, 125 Van Buren St., on the historic Woodstock Square.

Richmond, Illinois', own Georgia Rae has won seven state fiddle championship titles (Wisconsin, Illinois, and  Minnesota), five state twin fiddle champion titles (Minnesota and Colorado) and is the 2016 National Twin Fiddle Champion. She is a past champion of youth and adult divisions of the Woodstock Harvest Fest old-time fiddle contest. Georgia Rae has been performing before audiences with the Georgia Rae Family Band since 2011 at various venues such as the Pabst Theater in Milwaukee, Chicago Botanic Garden, Jackpine Jamboree, John Hartford Festival, and county fairs and festivals throughout the Midwest. Georgia Rae also hosts radio shows: “Kicking Back with G Rae and Jacks” (WHIW, 101.3 in Harvard) and “Women in Rock” (WBSD 98.3 in Burlington, Wisconsin).
